I live across the street from Triumph Baptist Church ( on Frederick Avenue) and the day of Linda's funeral - cars were triple parked for hours - as mourners paid tribute to her life....she had quite the escort to her final resting place. It was humbling to watch - and I know Linda would have smiled to think so many cared about her.
I used to play with Linda and her cousin Pam when we were kids and what fun we had!!! When I got to High School I used to pick up Sherry Tucker, Sherry Cottom and stop by Linda's house every moring to hear Aretha Franklin before going to school.
Lives change and Linda got married to Lawrence Whitlock and had a beautiful daughter L'Tanya and you do not all ways keep in touch but years later we got back together and with her sickness we did not always see each other on a regular basis.
Just a few year's ago my cousin Cindy Rucker came into town and got Linda, Patti, Dorinda and myself together and i know I am missing someone but we had a great time at Roma's Restaurant. I wanted us to get together again and not make it so long but I procrastinated and time is not the essence for any on us.
I Love You Linda and you will always be on my mind!!!

Yes, I do remember Linda Lee. My prayers go out to her family. Just now finding out about the passes of the 1972 graduating family makes my heart sad.
